About Anna
This special site is dedicated to our beautiful Anna, a bright, happy, faithful presence that was taken from our family much too soon, but whose sparkling light shines forever in our hearts.
Anna was a smart, fun, beautiful person whose smile and laughter radiated her fullness of and appreciation for life. Anna loved her family and prioritized their well-being in such a caring and selfless way. She was such a dedicated mom to her now, 6-year-old son, Luigi. And, together with her husband, Paul, they shared many beautiful family adventures and milestones.
In October of 2016, Anna was faced with a concerning diagnosis. The weeks that followed would include reviewing treatment options that could best help combat her illness: serous grade metastatic ovarian cancer. The following months were subsequently scheduled for chemo, surgery and additional rounds of chemo. Anna had embarked upon an unclear journey. Though, through it all, what remained clear was Anna’s devotion to God, her trust in His plan and her willingness to fight this disease. And, fight she did.
The next three and a half years, Anna’s strong faith, her strength and determination, and her endless love for her little boy, husband and family carried her through a difficult battle. She remained unaffected by adversaries and conquered through many challenges all while remaining faithful to God. Many trying moments would not be visible to those around her because she persevered with Grace. Yet, Anna’s quiet message was powerful, and she remains an extraordinary exemplar for us all.
On July 11, 2020, our Heavenly Father called Anna to Paradise and we pray that the light and joy that once radiated our world now emanates in Heaven. We have been left with a heart-breaking void, but our faith remains strong. We believe that Anna is in a beautiful place with our Lord in Heaven and that she is no longer suffering. Anna has left us with great examples of perseverance, love, and faith, and these qualities will continue to be a brilliant model for us all.
